Well, I couldn’t be happier, the wait has been worth it.  Gravity has gotten tons of publicity in Twitter and its much deserved, @janole (twitter screen name) is the creator of this wonderful application. Just a few moments ago some folks have voiced there concerns in regard to Gravity’s price tag $10 USD. Well, lets analyze this for a minute what can you buy for ten dollars that literally gives you a nice ROI(return on investment). Well, let us start by defining ROI, ROI is a performance measure used to evaluate the efficiency of an investment or to compare the efficiency of a number of different investments.

Now let’s focus on the “Gain from Investment(GFI)” part of the equation. How can we measure this gain. Well GFI can be measured objectively and subjectively once the proper parameters of measuring the aforementioned terms are applied. In reality its quite simple, first we need to define a rubric with the things we consider important whether its objective or subjective. In my case, I happen to love Twitter and all its 3rd Party integration ie. Facebook and Vitalist just name a couple. So my GFI is quite high if I can get an application that simplifies my data entry into the aforementioned sites, then for its super worth it for me to have such an application. Vitalist handles all of my “Getting Things Done” system  so I’m happy with that and Facebook keeps me connected to the friends and family and that alone is invaluable. So ten dollars to keep me connected to Twitter, Facebook, Vitalist, and as a result being productive and simplifying my digital access to these sites is well worth the $10. Just look at the Smartphoneware and Epocware set of applications(which I also happen to own a few), most of these are overpriced if you ask me but I’m sure they still hold a high ROI for some folks who actually pay for these, nevertheless, this is all very subjective and to each his own, if you happened to have been in the private beta and gotten a freebie, then that’s cool but saying this application is overpriced its a bit ludicrous, for those who feel this way I guess they haven’t been to Starbucks where a Cafe Latte and a snack will put you $10 under easily, lol, but anyway this is all trivial and enough said by Gravity folks you won’t regret your Twitter experience will jump to the next level with this application.
