I wake up around 6:45am by that time Best Profiles has already woken up and gotten things started, besides making my coffee in the morning Starbucks style (just kidding but I wish) it switched my Profile from After Hours to Normal Mode. In After Hours mode all messaging sounds are turned off and a low ringer tone is assigned to my phone just in case someone calls me in the middle of night. Best Profiles, developed by the folks of Smartphoneware, is highly configurable application that really boosts your user experience. After the Normal mode kicks Best Profiles launches via their Advanced Menu option several applications that are an important part of my morning routine.

Twittix and Gravity – to stay up to date on what’s going on Twitter and also to communicate with all the team members of Nokia Mobile Talk
Bluetooth

Best Profiles allows automatic profiles switching according to your schedule, calendar or GSM cell location. For each profile Best Profiles allows selection of additional settings such as: backlight, sound on activate, run custom application etc.

Once Bluetooth is launched it automatically connects to my Jabra BT3030 and then magic happens as I listen to various podcasts and music playlists during my morning run or walk.

The term symbiosis (from the Greek: σύν syn “with”; and βίωσις biosis “living“) commonly describes close and often long-term interactions between different biological species as cited in Wikipedia, in this case we’ll use symbiosis to describe the truly special relationship between the Jabra BT3030 and the E71 or any other Nokia smartphone.

“Music meets the Streets” was Jabra’s motto when they first introduced this headset in the latter part of 2007 and still today this proves to be true. The device itself is not only light but also very rugged. It connects to your Nokia handset very easily as a matter of automatically. I am happy to share that my experienced with the Jabra BT3030 has been all positive. I’ve read the reviews on the Bluetooth and off course the audiophiles will always have a few things to say but for me, an average user, this more suffices and meets all my needs.

Did you know that the external auditory canal is nearly 1 inch (2.5 cm) in length and can be easily injured, trust me I know, as a dentist we are well versed in all aspect of head & anatomy.

Good to know

The Jabra logo LED will glow a solid green when fully charged, yellow when at 70 % power and red if the battery is low. The dog tag sports a 3.5 mm headphone jack to support your favorite headphones and do I take advantage of this option with my Bose headphones.

After all this I’m off to work and several times a day I’ll check email as it comes in and tweet a bit, then back to work, then back home, where Best Profiles will automatically turn on Nimbuzz, my favorite IM client, and YouTube Mobile where I’ll catch up on some YouTube video reviews, Susan Boyle(doesn’t she have an amazing voice wow), and tons of other stuff. Then at 10pm Best Profiles switches back to After Hours and this time launches Opera Mini, as you all know an amazing browser, which is my favorite for night time reading, here I’ll check Facebook Mobile and take advantage of OM great RSS features, I particularly like this app at night because of its easy scrolling by hitting several keys, the #2 to scroll up and #8 to scroll down.

Then all of a sudden its sleepy time and I have to reboot my brain.
