Nokia N97 Facebook Preview

“What will you do first?” asks Nokia as they unveil their new polished N97’s Facebook widget but perhaps a better question is, “Do the rest of you s60 fans feel shafted by us releasing this *wink wink*?” Its kind off like a slap in the face if you ask me and I’ll tell you why; we spend hundreds of dollars to have the latest gadgets E71, N85, N79 to name a few and you mean to tell me that we can’t have a Facebook app in our phones.

I had the Facebook app in all my Blackberries(sold all them) for the longest time. RIM even updated to version 1.5 not to long ago and to add even more insult the boys from Redmond just released their own version, unfreaking believable. Now Nokia strolls through and gives the much anticipated N97 a cool Facebook app, c’mon guys what are we chop liver as they say.

Some of us don’t really want to upgrade to the N97 we’re perfectly ok with our other smartphones (E71, N85, N79), ok I said it and it had to be said, I won’t be getting the N97 but instead I have my eyes set on the N86, which will be a real upgrade to the N95 8gb. I remember James Whatley or better known as Whatleydude saying, “to my mind the N86 is the true replacement for the N95 8GB” and I agree with him on this claim. Anyway, enough said for now.
