Well the much anticipated Ovi Store is finally live. Remember when Apple launched their online store and it was a huge success for them, well that release started a viral effect on the other mobile giants with RIM and Microsoft following along and now Nokia finally releasing their own. Its been said that the store houses 20k applications but initial complaints and frustrations are being voiced around the blogosphere that most of the applications are actually wallpapers and old applications, some are saying that perhaps Nokia rushed this release and should have been a bit more meticulous so I guess only time will tell. My personal wishes: Well, I hope that their leadership is willing to be innovative and bring this technology to more mobile phones. There are many great 3rd party developers out there and I really hope Nokia has room to accommodate all them, especially with the payment of the commissions.
