I have the N97.
I does not like leaving domain blank and I have to put a space.
Then it always says invalid password and I am certain I have it right

i can sync one calendar but the contact sync doesn't work at all. just get an error message

Oh really, I had no problems following the tutorial, I actually configured my XM 5800 with. Yes, Goosync works great as well, I have a premium account which will expire next year, I have to evaluate if I will sign up again. Google Sync is working quite well for me but if you need multiple calendar synchronization between Google Calendar and your smartphone then Goosync is the way to go.

Goosync does work great but at a price especially if you want multiple calendar synchronization, so far Google Sync has worked perfectly for me, using this tutorial I setup my XM 5800, where are you getting stuck at.

the contact sync does nott work on my phone. nokia 6210 nav.
I went with a subscription of goosync instead. that service works like a charm
