14 application you must have on your S60

Here’s a small list of applications that everyone should have on S60 handsets. I said “must” in title, beacause they are all freeware and very good applications.

All links opens new windows. Don’t be affraid to click, it won’t close this window or change this page.

1) Nimbuzz: Every day I’m more fan of this swissarmy knife called Nimbuzz. It groups a lot of instant messengers like MSN, GTalk, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, etc.

2) Upcode: This is the better replacement of native barcode reader. It reads 1D and 2D barcodes.

3) Freetimebox: This little application automatically sets the time and date of your phone and also display a digital clock on every screen of you device. Very useful.

Download: Softpedia Mirror

4) JBakTaskman: The better task manager for S60. It shows the running tasks, processes and programs. Also shows CPU and memory informations.

7, 8, 9 and 10) Google Mobile applications: Do I have to explain these applications? Note that you have to visit the links bellow on your phone, using the native browser.

Huh…. No Gravity? Twibble is worthless compared to Gravity. Despite the importance of a twitter app… it's probably the best written S60 apps I've seen. You also left out Joikuspot which is one of the biggest bonuses of any smartphone out right now… Let's see you turn your iPhone or Pre into a wifi hotspot. I also really like Qik, ShazamID and PhoneLocator.
