In crowded events it’s usual to see how the phone network reach its limits and your mobile goes out of service. That could be very different thanks to Miraveo. What if every person attending are parts of a new network? What if every phone is a client and a server at the same time?
Miraveo wants to use the WiFi channel on people phones to create magical spontaneous networks that work independently from the operators structures. Their software allows to text, play or stream music to other users right from the phone. The app allows you to create and join public or private users groups.
Miraveo software is conceived as a platform. It can be integrated in WiFi capable hardware, like MP3 players or game consoles. They will be launching a free Symbian client next summer, and other mobile platforms will follow. We’ll keep an eye on them.
