Update your E71 to Quickoffice Premier 6

Yesterday Quickoffice   gave all Eseries users a free updgrade to Quickoffice Premier 6   which brought users support for MS Office 2007. Some folks who heard of this free update first via Twitter where having update issues, including myself, so I created this little mini tutorial for folks who may encounter the same difficulities :)

Steps to follow

1. Launch Quickoffice

2. Hit the option key or left side key and scroll down to refresh catalog

3. It will connect to the internet and download the update

4. Once that is done you’ll see this screen

5. Go into Update and Upgrades and you’ll see this screen

6. Continue through the menus

7. And eventually you’ll get to the download page and voila you’re done

8. C’est fini

the key step is refreshing the catalog

    hi,
    How do i get it for E71x? I followed your tutorial, but the quick office free for Nokia Eseries doesn't show up in the updates.

    Any suggestion?

    should be the same procedure, make sure you refresh otherwise the new option will not show up, good luck

    Nice after reading this i am going to use the Premire appln in my Nokia E-Series it is unlocked mobile i got the unlocking instructions in the site mobileunlockguide.
