It seems like the megapixels bug has bitten Nokia as well and in the everlasting war of which device has more megapixels. Rumors of the Nokia N98 are starting to arise which makes them seem even more believable in today’s light. Well I would be very interested to know which form factor is this N98 going to have, will it be another slide-out qwerty device or perhaps a full blown qwerty ala e71 but with an Nseries appeal to it, I don’t know but it will surely be interesting as the news unfold.

The devices containing the 12 megapixel cameras and optical zoom could be revealed either at the end of this year, or at the beginning of the 2010th Considering the dates, it is unlikely that a Nokia N98 – the future Nokia flagship – would be announced at the Nokia World 2009 (2-3 September), but rather at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in February.
