Ever wanted to consolidate some of your applications, perhaps you have you an older smartphone and want to save some of that precious memory, or maybe you just don’t have time to fiddle with all news coming through about an application update, this application does this, this does that, perhaps you’re more of pragmatic kind off user. Well thanks to the folks at Snaptu, we have just that, a simple and free solution to accommodate everyone’s needs.
Snaptu is written in Java and made my list of 15 Twitter Clients . Snaptu offers the users several internal applications or call them plugins. Besides having access to Twitter, Facebook, and their latest update Google Reader with Import support, you can also check out Soccer Games, Google Calendar, Cricket Scores and Movies.
My personal use is quite simple, remove all applications except Facebook, Twitter, and Google Reader. Its Twitter application has support for DM, RT, Follow, Unfollow, Favorites, Reply, Profile view. Not bad for a freeware which amazing graphics.
Facebook is also very well done, you can update your status, view pictures, view your Inbox, view others photoalbum, send messages to your friends, and the timeline.
Google Reader has a very unique and great option and that is that you can import your Google Reader feeds without having to import an OPML file, one word Sweet. Once you import your Google Reader account you can then select which RSS feeds you want to import to Snaptu. Is this great or what? Anyway, point your s60 browser to http://m.snaptu.com to download the most recent release with all these great aforementioned options. If you like it, let me know how it goes, pros and cons. Cheers
