Well, in the latest release of Gravity, Jan Ole Sur’s award winning Twitter application, Facebook compatibility is now among us not to mention Ping.fm support. What does all this mean to you the casual Symbian and Twitter user, well it means a lot. Let me explain.
Before Gravity’s integration of Ping.fm, we had to launch the browser and access Ping.fm’s mobile site to be able to shoot an update but thankfully Jan Ole Sur integrated this great functionality into Gravity and now its here and it makes things so much easier, to update up to a gazillion social sites like Facebook, MySpace, and tons of others via Gravity’s update screen. Yes ladies and gents.
Ping.fm supports
But as Jan Ole Sur is a working bee and an example of to other developers of what a great application can be, he also integrated as an account setup Facebook. So just like an add an account to Gravity whether its Twitter, Identica, and now Facebook and input your credentials and its all good.
To purchase Gravity head over to Mobileways site which supports fully all s60v3 (N97, E71, E63, E75 etc.) and all s60v5 (N97, 5800, i8910 etc)
Here are some screenshots of what it looks like.

WOW Facebook support. I have been waiting for a long time. This is great news Jorge. Now I need to remember how to post to Ping.fm so I can cover all my social nets
will post those instructions soon, its pretty easy, go to ping.fm and get an api key, actually you'll see Gravity listed under supported app and then go to Gravity and you enter those but I'll post a tutorial
I have used it in the past and it worked. Yesterday I ran into a problem. A few days ago I created some #groups to handle the various ways I post to my social nets;
1. #pb Generally I use PeopleBrowsr on Windows to post. PB support posting to Twitter, FB, and Ping.fm. So I can post to all my social nets by selecting Twitter, FB, and Ping.fm. I had also configured Ping.fm to post to LinkedIn, Jaiku, Flickr, …
2. #all post to all nets when using Gravity
So I tried to post to #all using Gravity “p #all <message>” and it does not work. It posts to my ping.fm default which is some strange combination of my social nets. Have you tried Gravity to post to a Ping.fm hash group?
