Must admit I've tried X-Plore, Y-browser and ActiveFile for File management on my N97. At present I pull towards ActiveFile (Especially with v1.43 RC3). I have been interested in trying out FExplorer Pro to see how it compares with the others (maybe even get the chance to review it over at http://n97geeks.com). I realise there is a trial available, but what with having a 9 month old to manage I can't guarantee the trial period would be long enough.
FExplorer Pro does sound like it has a lot of promise, but the GUI in ActiveFile is Sooooo Good on the N97. It is also a file manager with build in SMS Message Explorer, Task Manager, Process Manager, Reboot Option, etc. and also provideds Battery, Phone and Network information, so FExplorer Pro has a competition on it's hands as ActiveFile is FREE.
as for X-Plore, I find it's GUI a little out-dated and Y-browser has way too many install files, what with it's many add-ons (Is it just me, or does everyone else have to install all available add-ons when thery're free).

Looks nice, but XPlore has always seemed more streamlined to me, JBak Taskman has most of the app management + phone info viewers, and EnergyProfiler has logging of phone infos. Personally not something I currently consider purchasing, but for newer less experienced users it might be better to have everything in one package.
