Once again Jan Ole Suhr has grabbed the spotlight in Symbian, first it was with his award winning native Twitter client called Gravity that has rocked the Symbian world. andd now an already great application has done it again. Today Jan Ole Suhr made an alpha version of Gravity public which now supports Google Reader but keep in mind this functionality is new and does not support the boat load of the Twiter side of Gravity.
Options Available Now
1. Saving as a favorite is the equivalent of starring in Google Reader
2. Post to Delicious is also there – which is very nice indeed
3. Updating the general timeline of newsfeed
and
4. Marking all items as read
This is a great start in my opinion and I’m sure we’ll see many other options in the days, weeks, and months to come. Jan has already mentioned in Twitterr the Google Reader API is very feature rich and relatively simple to handle, he also mentioned the use of bit.ly as the url shortener of choice will be enabled soon as well. All in all this a great leap into a mobile lifestyle and once again Symbian has prooved that many things are possible under the the right hands – Jan Ole Suhr being the cyber surgeon of choice. Stay tuned to further updates as we receive them in the mean time download the update here DOWNLOAD .
