Well about 9 hours ago the Nokia Messaging Twitter team tweeted that the an email update, well you read it below:

So let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope it brings a much more stable client to the platform, I for one would love to see a better client for one of the most popular Eseries devices the Nokia E71. Wondering if this update will also affect FP2 devices like the Nokia N86 and Nokia E72 hmm, food for thought. Dying to know already.
