Tutorial: How to make Nokia Messaging recognize your Gmail password

Returning back to Nokia full time has been pretty smooth for the most part. I installed all my main apps ie. Gravity, Snaptu, setup ShareOnline with my Pixelpipe credentials and a few other basic apps but when it came down to Nokia Messaging and Profimail I had a slight hiccup with the aforementioned apps recognizing my main gmail credentials.

I must have entered my password at least three or four times but Nokia Messaging on the web side did not alert me to any kind off error besides not accepting the password. Like a little mobile chap that I am, I always have a back up and that’s Profimail which is a rock solid application I’m sure many of you know already. Well, leave it to Profimail to give me an error. Well, so I Google the error and came up with this.

Fix Gmail IMAP Invalid Credentials or Web Login Requires (Failure) Error

1. First you must sign in on the web to your gmail account and then hit this link

2. Once you Uncaptcha your Gmail account, login into Nokia Messaging on the Web and setup your email and it should accept it with no problem and do the same in Profimail and boom your done, your email should begin to work in a few seconds or minute.
