This years MWC did not have any new Nokia devices to flaunt instead we now have Meego. What’s Meego you may ask yourselves? Meego is simply a “hybrid version of Nokia’s Maemo OS and Intel’s Moblin. This platform will be used to power the smartphones of tomorrow and will also be powerful enough to be used on Netbooks.” Will it be successful, who knows but I suppose this the death of regular Maemo as we know it then. Will the N900 be fully compatible with Meego, well we just have to wait and see but for now I suppose developers are going crazy. One day Maemo now Meegoo, what’s next Nokia MeegooSymb lol.
I know a lot of you out there were waiting for this app to be released and Nokia has answered your questions N900 Office Viewer which this version supports text files, spreadsheets and presentations in OpenDocument format (ODF) and Microsoft Office formats. One word – Sweet.
Here is a little video of a Nokia N900 running both Maemo off course and Android. This just goes to show how innovative Linux based operating systems are and what they can do. Check it out.

As Nokia World approaches it seems like secrets are all over the place and once again the secret is out, yesterday we showed a screenshot of the RX-51 aka Nokia N900 and I was certainly very impressed.
Well, this is certainly a nice looking screenshot of what’s to come, Maemo in all its glory. Things are getting more interesting by the day.
Well its certainly nice to see another device sporting the Maemo Operating system, hopefully these are signs that a Nokia based Maemo will come soon. I was particularly impressed by the huge battery this device comes with and its certainly a looker that’s for sure.
Wow, unbelievable, sources deep within Nokia confirm that the company’s future operating system release called Maemo “Harmattan” maybe coming sooner than expected.
